Building a brokerage plugin to enable fractional options (ability to buy/sell less than 100 shares' worth of options)

If anyone here has ever wanted to:

A.) buy/sell half or a smaller portion of a full options contract on TSLA, AMZN, NVDA, SPY, QQQ etc.

B.) take profit on some/half of an options contract while still keeping part of the position on for further potential gains

C.) sell partial covered calls on a stock position (that is smaller than 100 shares) to earn income
