Looking at apartments, what placed to avoid

Hey guys I live in edmond and I'm trying to find some good apartments with a safe neighborhood. I have a 4 year old so I will be looking for a 2 bedroom appointment, I can afford 1400 a month.

I was looking at Indigo Apartments but one of my friends said not to live there. And I would like to know your guys opinion. Since I do want to keep my son safe. And what are your recommend places
