St Ann's - what's it like -house buying

Hey all, have been looking at getting on the property ladder and regularly see places in St Ann's come up that are within my budget. (160-210k). But I have not heard great things about the area, this could be very outdated as I haven't heard things from people that live there just other people from notts. If anyone can let me know what it's like that would be great, I live in sneington atm and like it here so if St Ann's is similar then that would be fine. But have heard it can be a bit of a rough area and has some other issues too.
