Tourette Syndrome Study Crasher
I'm in a brutal coding bootcamp. Its about 14 hours a day except on Sundays(Monday-Saturday). We have off Monday for MLK.
Our technical assessment is coming up Tuesday. If we do poorly, we're out of the program (and thousands of dollars). It's a huge culmination of 2 months of work.
The space is open on Sundays for people in the camp to come study. 5-6 of us are here trying to study for the huge technical assessment. One of the cohort members brought a friend in who is doing the program remotely, not at our branch. He is not involved in our cities program.
All fine and dandy so far. Except the extra person/friend has SEVERE TOURETTE syndrome. he is YELLING "YEAH" Every 2-3 seconds. I went into a side room, closed it, put on loud music on headphones and its STILL so loud i cant concentrate.
We have a review here later. I cant afford to miss it. I feel bad for the guy with Tourettes, but he is destroying my ability to study for this technical exam. He isn't part of the campus. he's not in our cohort.
I am furious with the member in our cohort who put me in this situation.
What should i do? Ask the guy to leave? Again. I feel horrible. But I have to be here for the review, and half the people here are in the same boat as I am. no one knows what to do. What should I do?
