Personal basketball stories

Sorry if there is a better place to post this, would appreciate if someone has a suggestion for a better sub. But since its the off-season I thought it might be ok here....

I'd love to hear peoples true stories of basketball experience. If you just played in your driveway w/family and friends or if you made it to the NBA and anything in-between.

For me, just the driveway and city league. Terrible shooting form but 100% effort always. Good defender, good passer, crashed the boards. Best friend was top scorer for our age group, we had some awesome 1v1 recess games. Local HS coach promised me a spot on his team because he said I did the little things that matter (best basketball compliment I've ever gotten) but then my parents moved and the new schools coach didn't care after seeing my terrible shooting form 🤣🤣 My brother and I would cut up our long soccer socks to make Allen Iverson sleeves 🤣
