One weekend a month, Two weeks a year

I am getting ready to enlist on Monday & I started to scroll around this subreddit & noticed a lot of people making memes about how the “one weekend a month” thing is a lie.

Is this actually true?

Im a full time college student and my MOS will be 25H. Idk if this gives enough background.
