I’m due in less than a month and desperately need a name for Baby Girl! Please help!

I am currently pregnant with our second daughter and I’m due just before Christmas. Our first daughter is named Evelyn. Her dad and I agreed on this name pretty quickly. I know it’s a popular name overall right now, but 5 years ago when she was born, it wasn’t used by anyone in our social circle and we both liked it, so we went for it. At the time, we both liked that it was a classic “old lady” name.

For this baby girl, Dad and I are 0% in agreement on names. I would like to stick with older, classic, and/or outdated-but-brought-back type of names. Dad is stuck on names that end in the “-y” or “-ie” sound without any consideration with how they will coordinate with big sister Evelyn. I am at wit’s end and we are running out of time.

Names Dad has suggested that I absolutely do not like:

• Marcy
• Darcy
• Lacey
• Lainey
• Gracie

Names I like but Dad has not been in love with:

• Vera
• Vanessa
• Elizabeth (a little too matchy with Evelyn, but it is a family name)
• Marion (a family name that is “meh” to me, but I would use it)
• Sylvia
• Lauren
• Matilda

I would like to avoid overly matchy-matchy names like “Evelyn and Eloise” or “Evelyn and Eleanor”. Other than that, I am open to any and all suggestions! Please help! TIA!
