[eBay] [UK] What are UK mtg/collectable sellers doing with the upcoming February ‘buyers fees’ affecting selling smaller low value listings most (a new additional £0.75 + 4% buyers fee for private sellers)

So with them copying Vinted’s model … a £2 listing as a private seller now showing as ~£2.80 to a buyer making it impossible to compete with business sellers at low value.

Yes these fees are added on to the buyer directly on top of your pricing, but to compete on prices you will effectively have to take the hit on the excess

The alternative is to pay a reduced rate, and register as a business account (limited company, business banking etc) but there are still additional fees you will need to absorb.

Such a let down after the ‘sell for free’ marketing the past few months, seems very deceptive to be hiding it behind this move
