How to print your own high quality proxies from home!
So I’ve had a lot of people asking how I make these look so good, so here is the short short version for those who are interested. Oh and I’m also including links to all the tools needed.
Step 1.) Chose your cards on MTGprint and click print at the bottom.
Step 2.) Save the PDF file on your phone or PC.
Step 3.) Print cards from phone or PC onto vinyl sticker paper using a color Laserjet printer.
Step 4.) Apply sticker paper onto 110lb paper (this part takes some practice).
Step 5.) Cut out cards. You can use scissors if thats all you have, but for doing bulk you will want a rotary paper trimmer like the one below.
Step 6.) Use corner punch for rounding corners. I use 4mm for Alpha cards and 3mm for everything else.
Tools & Materials needed:

The Power 9 cards were only printed onto cardstock without the vinyl sticker paper and you can definitely tell the difference in quality. Printing directly to cardstock trends to result in a lot of flaking and uneven colors. And the toner will wear off quickly.
