Small Things Like These
Just got out of this movie and... god damn. The best way I could describe it is "necessary".
Apart from being an absolute powerhouse of performances from Cillian Murphy, Emily Watson, Eileen Walsh, and everyone else involved, this is probably one of the quietest movies I've ever seen screaming on the inside.
Without giving away too much, go in expecting a man, a convent, and a sequestered evil set within a small Irish town.
It is crushing, but hopeful and can't recommend this movie enough. Top five on my list this year, for sure.
