Kate Beckinsale in Canary Black

So, am watching Canary Black, a new movie on Amazon Prime. And it's OK. Interesting. Nice plot. But Kate Beckinsale -- her acting just seems so flat! I mean, great moves with the fight scenes. But I had to check that she was actually speaking the words. It was so flat it seemed like it was a voiceover or something.

Anyone else get that impression about Kate Beckinsale?
