Is bannerlord already finished?

The mount and blade series is my favourite games series of all time. I played several hundred hours in Warband and Bannerlord. However I stopped playing bannerlord about 2 years ago, since all the mods got constantly broken because of new development updates. Now I want to start again, is the game development finshed/ or is there a end in sight, or is it still a problem?
