Lost screw-nut from accessory in bike

Pretty embarrassing. When fixing a handlebar accessory to my Tuono 660, a screw-nut went rogue and disappeared inside the bike. I'm assuming it's still in there somewhere since I removed the side fairings and the bottom cowl but it's nowhere to be found. It's not magnetic and compressed air didn't blow it out. Should I continue looking for it or just forget about it?
