Prep for winter bike storage

My first riding season is coming to an end. At the beginning of the season I bought a 2024 Ninja 650. I live in Wisconsin so the bike will be stored in a Garage for a good 4 months at least. I've got a little bit of time left before she goes into hibernation but I wanna be prepared.

What should I be doing before my bike goes into storage?it will be sitting in my parents somewhat but mostly not insulated garage over there winter. I've done quite a bit of looking online, but I mostly get "this is everything you really should do if you are the very best boy that does everything that is right and good to a T". But I imagine I don't need to go completely to that extent

What are the things to definitely do and what are the things that are kinda "if you want to you can, it's technically what you should do, but overall probably doesn't really matter"?
