Do repeated injuries keep out newcomers?

Living in WA, got everything you would need to start TA work (previous factory/physical work, Doggers/riggers, heights, gas, fork, first aid tickets) but got kicked back from a screen job a while ago for medical reasons (was told it wasn’t drug or alcohol)

I’ve ripped my ACL twice in the past and had full reconstructions both times, I’ve actually ripped it a third time but I’m not getting it operated on for the time being. I’m worried that seeing 2 ACL reconstructions and having no prior mining experience might pretty much blacklist me from the industry (I understand from a company POV not wanting to take on that risk)

TLDR: is there pretty much no chance of someone green getting into the industry if they’ve had two major surgeries?
