Snarky email response from potential artist

I need some advice on how to handle this situation. I’m looking for a new microblading artist because I wasn’t happy with the work from my previous one (it’s been 1.5 years since my last touch-up). I found someone highly recommended, but she’s super expensive (NYC based, over 1k).

On her website, it says, “If you’ve had previous microblading, email me,” but it doesn’t say what to include in the email. I wasn’t sure if she wanted photos or if I’d need to come in for a consultation, so I emailed her and asked, “Hi, just inquiring—do you need photos?” Her reply was, “What a stupid question! Of course I do, how else can I tell?”

I was caught off guard by how snarky that response felt. I get that she needs photos, but it wasn’t clear from her website, and she could’ve clarified without the attitude. Now I’m unsure if I should: 1. Send the photos and let it go because she’s highly skilled and worth the hassle. 2. Move on entirely because if she’s rude over email, it might be a red flag for how she handles clients in general. 3. Send the photos but subtly address the tone

What would you do? I want great results, but I also value respectful communication when I’m paying an astronomical price. Am I overreacting?
