MGS V could have been one of the greatest "movie-like video game," if Kojima had more time to work on it.
I know this video is old, but I'm convinced that MGS V would have been a great movie-like game, and story, if only Kojima had more time to work on MGS V before its release.
Just seeing how good the cut scenes were done, the acting, the original soundtrack (and 80s vibe, references, and hits) the very dark thriller (I mean, people are getting killed in a hospital and begging to be alive, folks. That's dark), on top of that, the YouTube link shows such great editing for such a great and intriguing moments.
This is definitely the darkest MGS game, and normally you find hints of humor in these games. You kinda see it in MGS V (horse pooping spinning cars, "kept you waiting" dummy, and etc.), but the game is dark and intense, the acting and writing is on point, and that's what makes it cinematically great.
(And of course, the "open world MGS gameplay" feel was amazing).
