I'm tired of yelling at my patients. Any good resources for geriatric assistive devices?
I'm a FM resident headed to a palliative fellowship, and will be working with a lot of older people with various limitations to their vision, hearing, mobility, ability feed/clean/dress themselves, etc. I know I can refer to PT/OT for mobility and some household devices, but I'd like to know what else is out there to help people get through their normal lives a little easier. Lighted magnifying glasses for reading? Pocket Talkers? Other useful devices?
