As anonymous as possible, what has been the most professionally (and maybe even ethically) complicated case you’ve seen of healthcare professionals caring for each other

Big emphasis on the anonymity here, we aren’t trying to breach anyone’s privacy or make things identifiable.

But caring for our own in such a small community can get— for lack of a better term—incestuous at times, given the multiple and layered relationships we have with each other via different roles. Frends, mentors, patient, doctor/nurse, boss/supervisor, committee member, co-workers, consultants vs primary, etc etc.

Again: let’s be very sensitive to this to ensure we keep things kosher and appropriate in terms of respecting one another, but this is an area of medicine and healthcare that I think often gets overlooked.
