How crucial is ICU experience prior to residency?

I'm an MS4 and have an ICU rotation scheduled for Feb for a month. Institution does not allow shortening the time frame. I've gotten 50/50 in terms of advice so far, with some strongly recommending that I drop it to enjoy 4th year (although I'd still have to do some sort of clinical rotation but can be a more chill one), and others strongly recommending having some sort of exposure to the ICU prior to residency.

I'm going into IM categorical, no particular subspecialty in mind. No ICU experience at all thus far. Would love to hear some advice and thoughts!
