Ankle Pain!
Hi!
So, I'm 17 right now, and in June I broke my ankle in a rollerskating accident. I broke a bone, fractured 2 bones, and dislocated my ankle. I had to have surgery where a metal plate and 2 screws are being used to hold me together.
In September I got the good to go that I was healed up and didn't need to use my walking boot anymore, in fact I didn't even need physical therapy if I did stretches (which I have been doing). However, I'm having a lot of pain. Walking longer than 2 hours causes discomfort, longer than that is pain. Sometimes it's so bad I can't walk for awhile. I figured it's a normal thing for an injury like mine but the pain is becoming a problem and interrupting my life. So, should I ask my parents to help me get it checked out or is this normal?
P.s; sorry if this is an obvious thing. I never broke a bone up until that point, so I know very little about this sorta thing.
