Does mass effect 2 have waypoints?

I wanna play 1 but I’m having such trouble finding where I’m supposed to go, I look online every mission and I still have trouble.

I’d rather just skip 1 if it means 2 and 3 have waypoints. I’m spoilt since I haven’t gamed before 2010
