Been Thinking Of Shaving

So, I am currently growing out my hair. Started out as an undercut but now I'm growing out the sides. I was also a shaved head person so long hair is a new path for me.

Now the beard. I've toyed with the idea to save it the past few weeks. Everytime I shower and groom my beard I change my mind. A bit is because I love having it and a bit because I'm attached so much it's hard to save.

It's been suggest multiple times to save it as well citing it will make you younger etc..

What do you think? Trim it really short or leave it? I'll never clean save as I look like a baby (last time I shave completely was probably over 10yrs ago. My beard is about 2 years of growth with a few minor trims.
