I'm the only one how doesn't like retro frame ?

I see woc push so hard for this art I I think that is bc people really like it but for me is not appealing at all. So I ask myself if I am the only one. I see so many good art styles like the one in blw that was like a hand drawing of a animal or the new movie poster. Retro frame feels like is just there to say that they put another art on the set. If you like it I want to know your pov to understand. Thanks
