Macbook PRO M1 Max or Macbook Pro M3 PRO

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a new macbook pro and need help deciding and hoping y'all can help me decide. I'm choosing between a 14" Macbook Pro M1 Max with 64 GB of Ram and 2 TB of storage(32-Core GPU | 16-Core Neural Engine) for $2200(brand new) vs 14" Macbook Pro M3 with 18 GB of Ram and 1 TB of storage(18-Core GPU | 16-Core Neural Engine) similar in price. Should I go with the M1 max chip with more ram or the newer M3 chip which is supposedly faster.
