Going to LGA from Ronkonkoma this Friday- traffic advice, will I make my flight?

So my flight to Canada is leaving at 6:35pm, unfortunately the person I’m traveling with wasn’t able to request off from work so we aren’t leaving till 2:30pm. How bad is the traffic going to be?
