Loneliness and Companionship

25 M. I've been an exmuslim for years now and have never been able to make genuine connections with anyone in my life.

I went on a date this Saturday with this girl I met on Hinge and turns out that her mum passed away over Christmas. She decided to give online dating a try as she's been heavily hit by her mum's loss and wants to come out of her shell and meet new people. She doesn't have a good relationship with her dad as that bastard was cheating on her mum while she was alive.

She's a brave, kind and wonderful person and I genuinely want to be there for her in whatever capacity I can, be it as a friend, a romantic partner or anything in between. But I'm afraid I might overwhelm her with my own issues as I myself am living a double life at home due to my disbelief in Islam.

Should I continue seeing her or not?
