Replacing pinch bar didn’t fix our robot

We’ve had our Litter Robot 3 Connect for 3 years and it’s worked perfectly until now. It recently started flashing a fast yellow light every time we pressed cycle. No movement at all. We thoroughly cleaned the inside and outside, all around the sensors. We troubleshooted and realized it could be the pinch bar. Opened it up and saw that the pinch bar was covered in rust or generally gross things lol

Ordered a new one from the website and installed it.

Turned it back on after installing the new part and it still flashes yellow when the cycle button is pushed.

I tried connecting it to wifi to see if there were any errors but the wifi or Bluetooth process didn’t work (the power button didn’t turn blue or even red after pushing cycle and empty for 3 seconds)

Does anyone know what the problem could be?
