Switching to Ozempic
Has anyone switched from Saxenda to Ozempic previously?
I've struggled with weight lost forever going up and down the scale like a bouncy ball. I know my eating happens are somewhat to blame but there are other factors as well.
I've been on Saxenda a few years ago and then I switched go Contrave. I spoke with my DR who referred me to a weight loss specialist and that DR hooking me up with a nutritionalist and also putting me on Ozempic. I'm pre diabetic and my insurance should cover this due to this factor.
Has anyone had better results from Ozempic? I know from research it's got a higher success rate but I'd prefer to hear real success stories.
I'm hoping with this new medication and the nutritionalist I will get on a correct path. Otherwise I will break down and get the bypass surgery which I was already in the program but pulled myself out.
I'm 41, 42 in August and I don't want to me overweight anymore. It's draining, causes problems with my legs, my energy us drained and it just all around makes things harder to do. The good thing is I've taken up Kayaking which will also help with staying active.
I do look forward to only injecting once a week, I found with Saxenda I was getting hard spots on my stomach when injecting daily even with moving around the injection sites.
Thanks in advance for the advice and/or stories.
