Carnivore 3 months, Eczema has gotten much worse (Lion Diet questions)
My eczema wasn't nearly as bad going in to this. Carnivore has worked for me in the past twice with going into remission and that's with a variety of animal foods. I'm eating the same this time (beef and lamb mostly ground, bacon, sardines, eggs, butter, sour cream, cheese, Redmond's salt, iodine drops, and cod liver oil on occasion) and getting a lot worse results than what I've gotten in the past regarding eczema specifically. I've made improvements in mental health, energy levels, sleep quality, bloating, heart burn/acid reflux, etc. but the skin issue really sucks. I'm considering trying the Lion Diet with primarily ground beef and ground lamb due to budget and convenience but have a few questions regarding that...
For people who have went Lion, how long did it take to see benefits, noticable improvements, or remission of your symtoms?
Could my tolerance for potentially triggering foods be improved over time by going Lion or should I be concerned about becoming more sensitive to other foods and/or losing the ability to tolerate certain foods? What are the best foods reintroduce first or have the least likelihood of sensitivity?
What's been your experiences reintroducing foods after a period of Lion diet? Mostly interested in eggs, butter, sardines, bacon, cheese, and sour cream but would like to hear about other ones as well.
I know ground meat is higher histamine and I haven't ruled histamine intolerance out, how would I be able to tell if the histamine is an issue rather than detox or something else after I start this?
Would I run a risk of deficiency due to loss of nutrients by cooking ground meat medium well or well done?
What's your favorite way(s) to cook ground meat exclusively?
