How to get started in learning Dutch?

Hello everyone, I'm an international student in the Netherlands for a year. I'm from France and also speak English and some Italian. I also took German but have a very poor level.

Now I have been living in the Netherlands since September and I still haven't learned anything except the very basics. I would really want to learn more but I don't know how to get started. My university offers Dutch classes for beginners but they're always full and to be honest I don't know to what extent I can learn a language all by myself (knowing that I'm used to learn languages at school).

Is Duolingo really helpful to get started? Or should I start with YouTube videos for instance? What level do you think I can achieve by the end of the academic year, knowing that I have no one to practice with?

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions!
