Dota 2 player moving to League: Champion suggestion and where to start

As the title suggests, I am a Dota 2 player with 5k hrs and around 2k MMR. I'm having a gf who plays League, she tried Dota 2 with me but she gave up, so it's my turn to try her game out. I played League back in season 4-5 or something, but never played again since, so basically I know nothing.

I know that I need to play a dozen of games to catch up with League's playstyle, and I also want to be able to familarize myself with some champions along the way. Please help me pick.

In Dota 2, I mainly play mid and core, but I think I should play Top/ADC/Sup to start.

I have a large hero pool but these are my most played heroes according to possition.
