How do you say "one day" in latin?

Hey everyone!

I was writing some kind of narration in latin and I don't know how to say one day (e.g. One day I went shopping). I think maybe the best way is "fuit dies" but I'm not sure about it.

What do you think about? There's another way to say that? Thank you!
