Why are civilized languages more analytical?

English and Mandarin are like the paragons of analytical languages with the Germanics and Romances close behind. Of those Dutch and Fr*nch respectively are the most civilized and analytical.

Then you go into less civilized places like the Balkan or Russia and it's highly inflected. Look up the language of any people that Europeans brought civilization to (and had absolutely no lasting negative reprocussions ever on haha...) and it's highly highly inflected.

Even English went from mongrol cases to civilized prepositions practically following its path towards being civilized.

What gives?
