why does r/metalcore hate KL?

idk if most people in that sub just suffer from underdog syndrome where they moment an artist becomes “mainstream” they suddenly dislike everything about them or what but kl dropped one of the best metal albums of the past decade and they just…hate it? makes no sense. It seems like boundaries is their golden child at the moment but i think part of the appeal of boundaries is that they just aren’t as popular as KL.

its so weird it feels like im back in high school lol
