Watched Joker 2 and these are my thoughts

  1. Joker 2 wasn’t as bad as I expected—I actually loved it.

  2. If you’re more attached to the Joker than to Arthur Fleck, this film might feel disappointing. (That’s probably why it’s getting so much hate.)

  3. In the film, people loved the Joker, not Arthur. And now, audiences seem to feel the same way.

  4. Arthur always wanted love, but only received it when he became the Joker. By the end, he realizes they loved the Joker, not him, which is why he tries not to be the Joker at the end.

  5. While it may weaken the Joker character (who’s usually stronger and more intense), I’ve always liked Arthur, so I feel sorry for him.

  6. Lady Gaga’s acting was good, but she didn’t do much as Harley Quinn beyond brainwashing Arthur. She loved only the Joker🥲

  7. Maybe audiences would have been more open if the title was “Arthur Fleck” instead of “Joker,” as the story mostly focuses on him.

  8. Arthur might not be a “successful” Joker, but I can’t hate him!

  9. Was a sequel necessary? No, but that doesn’t make this a bad film.
