Is it worth jailbreaking

I was thinking about jailbreaking my device because my objective with that is gaining control of the device that i paid for and is mine. In 2025 I wanted to ask is it still wroth? I heard some security risks also coming to jailbreaking and wanted to ask what type of security risks, on what i have to look out for.
