I watched Million Dollar Baby (2004)
Totally not what I was expecting! I don’t typically watch sports drama films so I was hesitant to watch it but my boyfriend insisted and I’m so glad he did. I was intrigued throughout but unfortunately we watched it kinda tipsy so we paused it right after Maggie gets injured and took a nap then returned to it after. Upon resuming I was confident the next forty ish minutes would be about her recovering and making her comeback but JESUS I was not expecting something that emotionally charged! Such an unexpected devastating ending and typically after a movie I think of small critiques but I frankly couldn’t think of any this time. I thanked my boyfriend for making me watch this film. Absolute 10/10 watch, everyone who worked on this film was perfect!
