violet and imogen

I think everyone knows that one chapter where Violet talks about how she’ll tell Xaden about the wards once he’s back home and then has a nightmare and wakes up next to Xaden, then the next paragraph Xaden isn’t back yet. I know a lot of people think it has something to do with her second signet (like me) or an editing error - but do we think Imogen could have wiped Violet’s memory at some point and Xaden wasn’t actually away and was sleeping in the same room and leaving before she woke?

I know Yarros implied Xaden is still hiding secrets and that’s why we don’t get his POV chapters so I’m wondering, during my reread if that could have been the case for this confusing part of the book… - Like maybe Xaden didn’t tell think Violet woke in the middle of the night so he didn’t have Imogen wipe that memory of waking up from the nightmare

I believe there was a part of FW where Imogen wiped everyone’s memory when they were in Montserrat to do supply runs…
