Raijin tattoo pairings

Just got my upper arm mapped for a raijin tattoo but wanted to pair it with something within the piece. Came across this artwork from yoshio honjo (1st image) and really like the idea of the tiger but want to keep it within the traditional rules of pairing. Are tigers allowed to be paired or is this a “rule break”? Second image is the only tat I’ve seen with raijin and a tiger but it was worked in as a belt not its own entity.
