Saorview

After 2 months of attempting to terminate a contract with the corporate scumbag that is Sky, I have finally succeeded.

Can anyone tell me whether Saorview is still a decent option in 2025 for basic TV channels?

There is a mast 1km from my house and so I’m wondering what equipment I need to get a connection. I will happily buy whatever device needs to be connected to the back of the TV but if some kind of external antenna is needed then it’s not a runner.

Interested to hear if any of you are using Saorview and what your setup is.

Btw, I have Netflix, Prime and a smart TV with RTE player and Channel 4 player so I don’t need any fancy channels.
