iPad Air 5th Gen vs iPad 10th Gen

This may seem obvious, but I noticed Apple currently has refurbished iPad Air 5th generation models available. I’m a college student primarily using the iPad for note-taking and multitasking. The cost difference between the iPads isn’t a concern for me.

I understand the Air has a more powerful chip, but I’ve also heard that the 10th generation iPad supports a better version of the Apple Pencil. I’d like a second opinion on which one I should choose.
