How do I improve with the FF1600?

I’ve been trying to get into Iracing and have been focusing on the ff1600 however, I’ve had trouble controlling it. Whenever I’m in a sub-optimal braking zone where you have to turn whilst braking, I just lose the car instantly. Even though I am being very gentle on the brakes and throttle.

How can I improve?
