Really really bad breath

I just want to start this out by saying like this is my first time experiencing this and like let's not judge too hard. It's been happening as of like 6 months now but my breath just smells like absolute dog shit. Like it taste and smells like a chicken coop. Now like MIND YOU THIS ONLY HAPPENS LIKE ONCE IN A WHILE MAYBE ONCE EVERY 2 WEEKS. HOWEVER, it has been happening a little bit more lately and I have 0 clue why like I have no idea why and I am GENUINELY afraid to ask people. Can someone help? I thought I had a tonsil stone (I've heard they smell really bad but I've never had one before) so I went to go check and I don't see anything of the sort so now I'm confused and don't know what to do. Like I will bruh my teeth and mouth wash and it'll still smell like that. Like I am so confused someone please help.
