Only one pen press key not working

this is my last resort before i possibly contact huion, I'm really at loss of what to do.

I was drawing and everything was fine, but the top press key on my pen suddenly stopped working. If i press it, the cursor freezers, but it doesn't do its function, which is the 'Y' key (my shortcut for eraser tool in CSP).

I'm certain it's the pen because 1) i assigned a different function to the non working key and it didn't work 2) It will not type 'y' since that is the key's function.

The lower button which is set to right click works just fine, no problem. I don't understand what happened, this pen is fairly new as well as I had to replace my old one. I've tried to fix this by updating drivers, restarting computer, messing with functions in the Huion program, etc,, but so far nothing as worked. There were some times it switched to the eraser tool after like it was delayed so I don't know what that was about. Everything is functional otherwise, this is just really annoying since having that shortcut helps my workflow and it will be annoying to adjust and work around it 😥

I have a Huion Kamvas Pro 16 and the battery free pen PW507.
