Howard and AGT, who got tired of who?

Did Howard know what he was getting himself into or did he think AGT would bend over backwards and do what he wanted until they didn't? Howard would never say he was fired from the show, but it seemed as if he just didn't want to participate with the other hosts and made sure to have demands that were honestly over reaching...have the show in NJ instead of CA? I believe AGT didn't get the bump they thought they would and Howard just wasn't a team player. Just heard today on an old show he was thinking of getting an AGT tattoo which honestly sounded like he was excited being on the show at the time.
