Tips/Tricks for the hard freeze next week?

Looking to see if people have any preparation tips or ideas for what to do during the hard freeze next week.

One that I heard from a coworker is to run the dishwasher a few hours after going to bed(either set an alarm or have an dishwasher on automatic start if possible).

The other tip is to cover/wrap pipes.
