Update- how I made my plant wall

First, thank you for all the love and awards on my plant wall post! I truly feel honored! I currently have a bunch of kiddos running around so I don’t have time to do a full step by step tutorial but I wanted to add some photos I took while I was building it. I wanted to make sure everything would work well before closing it all off. In the photos, the wall is exposed. Before I actually framed everything and put all the plants up, everything was pulled down and I stapled plastic sheeting to the wall. I promise to do a tutorial after the holidays when I don’t have a bunch of gremlins tearing up my house!

I used a lot of those black wall planters but I also made baskets from plastic mesh. These can be made to suit any size container using mesh and zip ties. I made them for plastic water bottles which I use for props. I also used this method to make baskets for the Togo containers I repurpose as planters for my philodendrons on moss poles. The right and left sides of my wall just have hanging 2x4’s covered with yoga mat. Since I planned to use this area to hang moss poles and random plants, I didn’t need the plywood base. Hope the photos help!
