I’m sharing my experience with Baerskin in case it helps others considering an order.
I placed an order for a Baerskin jacket on December 3rd, 2023. After hearing nothing for two weeks, I sent my first inquiry on December 17th to check the status of my order but didn’t receive any response.
On December 20th, I sent a second follow-up email. On December 25th, I finally received a lengthy email explaining the reason for the delay. While I appreciated that they eventually responded, the email didn’t provide any solid or helpful information about my order.
On January 6th, 2024, I sent another inquiry. The response I received was identical to the previous email, almost as if it had been copied and pasted. This made me question whether I was communicating with a real person or an automated system. Over the next few days, despite further communication attempts, I kept receiving the exact same email multiple times.
Then, on January 9th, I received an email with a link to an update. Unfortunately, the update didn’t include critical details, such as the country or location where the product was being shipped from. (See attached screenshot for reference.)
It would be helpful if companies advertising on platforms like YouTube were more transparent about the origin of their products and the countries they operate in. Understanding the cultural and legal frameworks these companies follow could help customers set expectations and make more informed purchasing decisions.
