Retrofit facelift steering wheel to pre facelift GD3?

Looking to find out if it’s possible to fit the facelift (paddle shifter) steering wheel on a pre facelift GD3 VTIS.

If anyone has done this I’d love a little insight on how to wire the paddles up. My GD3 currently has the button style steering wheel fitted but I’d love to get paddles.
